FUNDACION TENIS URUGUAY

•Fundación Tenis es una organización no gubernamental, oficialmente instituida en Mayo de 2001,en Porto Alegre-Brasil; que busca por medio del deporte el desenvolvimiento social de niños carentes.En la actualidad beneficia a cerca de 200 niños sólo en el Uruguay.

•La propuesta llega a Uruguay a través de el Señor José Cirne Lima y con el apoyo de la empresa Gerdau Laisa; Club del Bosque Punta del Este y avalado por la Inspección Departamental, se inicia en nuestro departamento en Junio de 2006 con la selección de 20 niños de la escuela nº21.

•En Maldonado se ha formado un núcleo liceal con los alumnos egresados del 2006 - 2007 y 2008. También se ha incorporado al proyecto en el año 2009 la escuela nº 93 con grandes expectativas.

•En Montevideo se ha extendido a las escuelas nº 140, nº 142 y nº 360; y se formó un núcleo de liceales egresados de la escuela en el 2007 y 2008.

MISION

•Promover el desenvolvimiento de los niños provenientes de comunidades más necesitadas, dando la oportunidad, por intermedio de la práctica sistemática y disciplinada del tenis, de mejorar su proyecto de vida.

OBJETIVOS GENERALES

•Brindar a los niños a través del aprendizaje de tenis herramientas que contribuyan a la formación de principios y valores que los capaciten para integrarse plenamente a la sociedad.

•Proporcionar un espacio de convivencia en armonía en el que se desarrollen valores, dándole a éstos significado, y a los alumnos la posibilidad de elección en sus actos cotidianos.

•Contribuir en el desarrollo psicomotor, cognitivo y afectivo-social, formando personas críticas y responsables.

REGLAMENTO

Para permanecer en Fundación Tenis:

•Comprender y cumplir con cada punto del siguiente reglamento detallado.
•Estar matriculado y asistir regularmente a la escuela, liceo, U.T.U, ó curso de desarrollo personal.
•Lograr un desempeño académico aceptable y aspirar a mejorarlo.
•Tener buen comportamiento tanto en el establecimiento estudiantil como en la fundación.
•Adoptar/Llevar a cabo hábitos de higiene y responsabilidad para sí mismos y sus pertenencias.
•Asistir al 75 % de las clases mensualmente, justificando las inasistencias debidamente.
•Acondicionar y reacondicionar nuestro espacio de clase. •Cuidar y respetar nuestro material de trabajo.

Con respecto a las clases:

•La llegada tarde se tolerará hasta 5 minutos luego de dar inicio de la misma , queda a criterio de quien se encuentre a cargo la integración al grupo en caso de llegar más tarde. Se sancionará la llegada tarde con media falta.
•En lo posible ir al baño antes del inicio de clase.
•Existirá un tiempo intermedio de 5 minutos en el que se habilita la ida al baño en caso de necesidad y a tomar agua, debiendo ordenar previamente el material de trabajo.
•Al final de la clase el material utilizado debe estar en las mismas condiciones en que fue entregado y se designarán 2 alumnos para colaborar con el orden de los mismos.

Los alumnos:

•Deben asistir a clase con vestimenta deportiva y calzado adecuado.
•Es de uso obligatorio la remera que nos identifica como grupo. •No está permitido consumir alimentos ni chicles durante la hora de clase.
•Deben jugar todos con todos, no se permitirá negarse a jugar con algún compañero.

Otros:

•En caso de que por algún motivo sujeto a este reglamento, un alumno deje de formar parte de Fundación Tenis Uruguay, éste deberá entregar la remera y entender los motivos pertinentes que se le explicarán. En este caso la decisión se toma en conjunto. En caso de otros motivos, deberán estar debidamente justificados por quien corresponda.

FUNDACION TENIS URUGUAY (Tennis Foundation Uruguay)

Fundación Tenis is a nongovernmental organization, officially established in May 2001, in Porto Alegre, Brazil, seeking through the practice of sports the social development of children with fewer opportunities.

In present days more than 200 kids get benefited from the program in Uruguay, and more than 600 in total.

Beginning in mid-2006, the proposal of Fundación Tenis Uruguay comes by Mr. José Cirne Lima and with the support of the company Gerdau Laisa, Club del Bosque Punta del Este and endorsed by the Inspection of Department of Maldonado, it starts in our department with the selection of 20 children of school Nº21.

Due to the success in Maldonado, the program has been extended to three other schools in Montevideo, Nº140, Nº 142 and Nº 360, and one more locally, Nº93.

Fundación Tenis also created groups for those alumni of the 2006 - 2007 and 2008 who attend to high-school.

MISSION

To promote the development of self-confidence and responsibility in children from deprived communities, giving the opportunity, through the systematic and disciplined practice of tennis, to improve their lives expectations.

GENERAL OBJECTIVES

• Provide children, through the learning of tennis, tools that contribute to the formation of principles and values that enable them to integrate fully into society.

• Provide a space for living together in harmony where to develop good values, giving them meaning, and how them affect the students in their daily actions.

• Contribute to the psychomotor, cognitive and affective-social values, forming critical and responsible persons.

RULES

Regarding to keeping the place once you are part of the foundation:

Understand and comply with every point of the following detailed regulations.
• Be enrolled and regularly attending to school, high school, UTU, or personal development course.
• Achieve an acceptable academic performance and hope to improve it.
• Have good behavior in both, school and the foundation.
• Identify / Conduct hygienic habits, and responsibility for themselves and their belongings.
• Attend 75% of monthly classes, justifying absences.
• Behave, and care for our classroom space.

• Care and respect our work material.

Regarding to the lesson:

• The late arrival shall be at top 5 minutes after the start of it, and it is at the discretion of whoever is in charge of the group in case of later arrivals. Late arrivals will be sanctioned with half missing.

• If possible go to the bathroom before the start of the lesson.
• There will be an intermediate time of 5 minutes during the lesson, which enables the trip to the bathroom if necessary and drinking water, after pre-ordering the work material.
• At the end of the lesson the material used should be in the same condition as it was delivered. 2 or more students will be designated to collaborate with the order of it.

Students:

• Must attend to the lesson sportswear and footwear.
• It is mandatory to use the T-shirt that identifies us as a group.
• You must not eat or chew gum during class time.
• Everyone must and will play with everyone, and no one is allowed to refuse to play with a partner.

Other:

• If for some reason subject to these rules, a student ceases to be part of Fundacion Tenis Uruguay, he or she must return the t-shirt and validate the relevant reasons which must be explained. In this case the final decision is taken by the instructors and the group. For other reasons, they also must be justified by the appropriate parties.
